M.A.D. was started by two University of Cape Town (UCT) students, who, during their extensive holidays founded M.A.D. as a way of exploring Africa on a students budget, while giving back to the continent of their birth. M.A.D. has included many sponsors and crew members throughout the years, which can be found on the expedition pages.
There are many great expeditions in the pipeline for the future, which will take the M.A.D. team adventuring through the world, especially the African continent.

Charli is currently finishing his MBA in Fribourg, Switzerland, while researching possible new expeditions.

Kev is working in Cape Town for Ruwekus Fishing, and involved in many adventure, cycling, and triathlon races.
